Digital World at Dynamic Earth
West Calder High's S1 pupils had a blast discovering more about the Digital World at Dynamic Earth, Edinburgh. Pupils had a go at coding supported by professionals from Skyscanner, and marvelled at the possibility offered by 3D printers and the Hyperloop train. Many were inspired by the range of employers and demonstrations, and some pupils even gave interviews on film sharing their thoughts on the day. An added bonus was a free Rasberry Pi, keyboard and mouse! The pupils had great enthusiasm, positivity, and were a credit to the school. Future careers at Google await?
